My name is Bernardo Martins, a Digital Designer from Rio de Janeiro, but now based in Lisbon, Portugal. I have been studying and working with UX/UI Design for some years now and I love the fact that the digital world is in constant change. My areas of expertise are: User Experience and Human Centered Design, User Testing, Visual Design and UI, and Prototyping.
Much of my background was built around UX: understanding users, mapping their needs, and turning that into digital experiences that actually work for the people using them. It's work that requires listening before designing, and that's where I developed most of my way of thinking about product.
Today, I feel drawn to expand that lens into UI, especially around building design systems, an area I've been going deeper into. I'm also exploring how AI can become part of the creative process, not as a replacement for design thinking, but as one more tool in service of better, faster decisions.
